I am a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University and the director of the Interdisciplinary & Intelligence Research (I2R) Laboratory. Prior to joining Clemson, I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. I received my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

[06/2024] Dr. Wang has been elected a Fellow of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).

[09/2023] Dr. Wang starts to serve as a Program Director at NSF for the Dynamics, Control and Systems Diagnostics (DCSD) program and the Foundational Research in Robotics (FRR) program.
